The #picnic theme has caught on and this picnic basket is what I would use

I saw this ideal picnic basket in a shop window today and with a table cloth and some cutlery and finger foods, a picnic in the outdoors with the social distancing rules in mind, can be a nice way to be in the open again although the sky looks slightly cloudy but if you don't mind a picnic in light (April) showers, this can be an opportunity to welcome in Summer.

One month to wait!

The nice thing about picnics is, the food can be shop bought and neatly packed in a picnic basket or a cool box. I don't think many parks allow a portable stove but finger foods, already baked and can be eaten cold, with a good supply of drinks, then the great outdoors seem so inviting!

Required:

Finger foods like pizza slices, bite size sausage rolls, sandwiches, chips, crisps, or salads and drinks.

Plus the umbrella and raincoats and a smile! Make it a rule, that if your invitees can't come with a smile and more finger foods, they'll have to stay indoors.

Happy picnic-ing!
